Are your wigs and toppers made with 100% human hair?

Yes! All our wigs and toppers are crafted with high-quality 100% human cuticle-aligned Remy hair, ensuring a soft, realistic texture that perfectly mimics natural hair. Unlike synthetic alternatives, our human hair products can be heat-styled (with tools set below 180°C/356°F), professionally dyed, cut, and restyled just like your own hair for unlimited styling versatility.

What happens if the wig color I want is unavailable?

We offer professional in-house cutting, coloring, and perming services for all purchased units. You can request minor color adjustments within one month of receiving your product to match your preferred tone and style. Please note that we only support subtle color tweaks. Full drastic color changes (such as transitioning from dark black to blonde) are not possible, as we cannot lift or bleach pre-processed hair safely without damaging the hair quality.

Where are your hair pieces sourced from?

Our core collection features carefully selected premium Russian cuticle-aligned Remy hair. Every strand retains its natural cuticle direction, ensuring long-lasting smoothness, minimal tangling, superior softness, and a natural moveable texture for everyday wear.

How long will my hair piece last?

With consistent and proper maintenance, our human hair wigs and toppers can last 5–6+ years. We also provide a 1-year official hair warranty for all units if any shedding occurs over 20% will be eligible for a replacement. Lifespan varies slightly based on wear frequency, styling habits, and daily care routine.

Are your units ready to wear straight out of the box?

Absolutely! All our units are fully pre-styled and ready for immediate wear. Our hair features a natural subtle wave texture, and every piece is professionally styled, combed, and finished before shipment. Each unit comes with a natural undetectable hairline, requiring zero extra styling for daily use.

How do I choose the right cap for me?

Do you repair wigs and toppers?

Yes! We offer professional repair services for all wigs and toppers with normal wear and tear, including third-party units. Please note that our official 1-year warranty only covers such as excessive shedding caused by loose sewing or faulty cap construction. Damage from daily wear, improper care, or accidental breakage is not eligible for free repair and will require a paid service.

What is the frontal lace for? Can you cut the lace for me?

The excess frontal lace on a wig is designed to be trimmed before wear to create a seamless, skin-melting natural hairline. If you would like our team to pre-cut the lace for you, please contact our customer service team immediately after placing your order via support@jadorasecret.com. Please note: Pre-lace-cut units are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances.

What lace color do you use?

We use high-definition (HD) invisible lace for medical base wig and swiss lace for our lace top wigs. They come transparent. If you would like to get a different color lace constructed(like beige/pinky/yellow/dark tone) please contact us for further details on the lace color book.

How is hair length measured?

All hair lengths are measured straight from the top of the cap down to the hair ends. For example, Every wig is photographed individually on a standard mannequin head and the length is in description as the picture length for reference.

Can I wear your wigs if I have no natural hair?

Yes, you can wear any of our wig collections with zero natural hair. For full baldness or total hair loss, we highly recommend our medical base wigs, which feature anti-slip silicone edges for maximum security and all-day stable wear. You may also choose lace top wigs pair with a wig grip for extra reinforcement.

Are your wigs only for medical use?

Our wigs and toppers are originally designed for clients experiencing hair loss, alopecia, and chemotherapy-related thinning. However, they are suitable for everyone seeking natural, high-quality human hair styles. Please note that our medical base wigs are optimized for zero or minimal natural hair and are not recommended if you have thick natural hair underneath.

Can I sleep, swim, or workout in my wig?

We do not recommend swimming or showering with your wig. Chlorine, saltwater, and hot water will damage hair cuticles, cause tangling, fading, and reduce the overall lifespan of your unit. For new wigs that feel slightly tight, you may sleep in it for a few nights to stretch the cap for a more comfortable fit. Working out with your wig is optional based on personal preference; we recommend securing the unit firmly during exercise.

How do I determine the right size for a wig or topper?

Our standard wig cap size is 22.5 inches (medium), which fits most average head shapes, equipped with adjustable straps for a customizable snug fit. For hair toppers, we offer multiple base sizes (including our popular 8x8 silk top base) to fit different thinning coverage areas. Custom sizes are available upon request. You can submit your head measurements via our custom order form or book a consultation for professional sizing guidance.

What is a hair topper and what does it do?

A hair topper is a lightweight partial hair piece designed to cover thinning crowns, sparse part lines, and frontal hair loss. We offer light density and medium density options: light density toppers focus on adding natural volume for mild thinning, while medium density toppers provide fuller coverage, acting as a mini wig for moderate partial hair loss.

How do wigs and toppers stay secured on the head?

Our full lace wigs feature adjustable rear straps and flexible combs for all-day secure fixation. Medical base wigs add a medical-grade silicone anti-slip edge for extra stability, perfect for zero natural hair. All hair toppers are built with durable, soft pressure-sensitive clips that gently clip onto your natural hair, staying firmly fixed without slipping or causing scalp discomfort. You may choose extra clips, combs or straps as your preferred way of wearing a wig. We will sew the extra pieces based on your requirement to the wig.

What is your price range for wigs and toppers?

Our pricing varies based on hair density, length, base type, and customization level. Ready-made in-stock units and toppers are listed directly on our website collection pages. Topper pricing differs by base size and density, while wig pricing varies by length and density grade. You can filter products by density and base size on our site to view detailed pricing for all available styles.

Can I book a same-day pickup appointment?

We maintain partial inventory in our Toronto showroom for cap base checking and fitting purposes, main inventory are in our office located in New York. Not all units are available for immediate same-day pickup in Toronto. We can attempt to match, cut, and style a suitable piece for your same-day visit, but immediate availability is not guaranteed. Please contact us in advance to confirm in-stock styles before booking a in person appointment.

Can I style, dye, or cut my BlendBloom wig/topper?

Absolutely! Our 100% human hair units are fully customizable. You can use low-to-medium heat styling tools, trim the length, or request professional dyeing services. We highly recommend consulting a professional stylist for chemical dyeing to protect hair quality and avoid damage. Always follow our official care instructions to maximize your unit’s lifespan.

Do you offer products for medical hair loss conditions?

Yes! We specialize in scalp-friendly wigs and toppers for clients with alopecia, chemotherapy hair loss, thyroid-related thinning, and other medical hair loss conditions. Our medical-grade caps are ultra-soft, highly breathable, and non-irritating for sensitive scalps, with gentle secure fixtures that do not pull or strain the scalp. Custom color and sizing options are available to match your natural hair perfectly.

What is the difference between a full wig and a hair topper?

A full wig covers your entire scalp, ideal for total hair loss or complete style transformation. A hair topper only covers localized thinning areas (crown, part line, frontal area) and blends seamlessly with your existing natural hair, perfect for partial hair thinning and clients who want to retain their original hair while boosting volume and coverage.

How do I place a custom wig/topper order?

Placing a custom order is simple! Download our official custom order form on our website and fill in your exact preferences, including hair color, texture, length, base type, and sizing requirements. If you need guidance completing the form or deciding on specifications, book a free virtual or in-person consultation with our wig stylists. Our team will review your details, confirm all custom requirements, and initiate production after your confirmation.

How long does a custom order take?

All custom orders require 4–6 weeks. Once production is finished, we will send you preview photos of the final product for your confirmation before shipment. Standard shipping takes an additional 2–3 business days. Our team will update you throughout production, confirm final details and shipping address before dispatch. In-store pickup is also available upon request after production completion.

What information do I need to provide for a custom order?

Please provide your accurate phone number and email address for order communication. You can submit head measurements, reference photos, desired color, texture, length, base size, and styling preferences via our custom form. After receiving your submission, we will send you a confirmation code and secure payment link to finalize your custom order.

How do I book a virtual or in-person consultation?

You can book a free virtual consultation directly via our website booking link for a 30-minute one-on-one online session. All consultations are pre-booked only to ensure full client privacy and follow our store operating policies.

Is the virtual consultation free?

Yes! All virtual consultations are 100% free, lasting 30 minutes. Our professional stylists will answer all your questions, guide you through custom order processes, recommend suitable products for your hair condition, and share professional styling and maintenance tips.

Is there a fee for in-person consultations?

In-person private consultations are completely free of charge. We offer exclusive one-on-one private appointment slots with no other clients present, allowing you to comfortably try on in-stock units, discuss your hair concerns, and receive personalized styling advice with full privacy.

Can I bring someone to my consultation appointment?

Absolutely! All our consultation sessions are fully private. You are welcome to bring family or friends to accompany you, helping you feel more comfortable and confident during your appointment.

What is your consultation cancellation policy?

We have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid missed appointment fees and secure slots for other clients.

What happens during a consultation?

During your consultation, our professional stylists will analyze your face shape, skin tone, and hair condition to recommend the most suitable styles, colors, and base types. For in-person visits, you can try on our in-stock units directly. For virtual consultations, we will showcase different styles and demonstrate fits and textures for you, answering all your questions and providing tailored suggestions.

Shipping & Returns

How long does shipping take?

Ready-made in-stock units ship within 2–3 business days after order confirmation. Custom orders require 4–6 weeks, followed by 2–3 business days standard shipping. A tracking number will be sent to you once your package ships. We do not support PO box delivery; please provide a valid physical shipping address and contact phone number for successful delivery.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

Ready-made wigs and toppers can be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery, provided the unit is unused, uncut(including frontal lace), unmodified, retains original packaging, and is in perfect resalable condition. All custom orders are final sale and non-returnable/non-exchangeable, as they are uniquely tailored to each client’s preferences. Damaged or defective products caused by manufacturing issues are eligible for our warranty service and free replacement.

Are duties and taxes covered for international orders?

Yes! BlendBloom covers all international duties and import taxes for our clients. You will not encounter any hidden fees or additional charges upon delivery. All orders over $200 qualify for complimentary worldwide free shipping. We handle all customs clearance procedures to ensure a hassle-free delivery experience globally.

Care & Maintenance

How do I care for my wig/topper to extend its lifespan?

Treat your human hair unit just like your natural hair. Use only sulfate-free, mild shampoo and conditioner. Avoid harsh chemicals, excessive heat, and over-washing and purple shampoos. We recommend washing your unit every 25-30 wears. Always air-dry on a wig stand to preserve cap shape and hair texture. Gently detangle with a wig brush or wide-tooth comb, and apply lightweight hair oil to the ends to prevent dryness and tangling. We also offer professional monthly deep cleaning services at our showroom for an additional fee.

Can I swim or shower with my wig/topper?

We strongly advise against swimming or showering while wearing your wig or topper. Chlorine, seawater, and hot water will damage hair cuticles, fade color, and weaken cap stitching. If unavoidable, wear a waterproof swim cap for full protection. After water exposure, rinse the unit with cool clean water, apply conditioner, and fully air-dry on a wig stand immediately to avoid matting and damage.

Will my insurance cover my medical wig?

Most medical insurance providers offer partial or full coverage for cranial prosthetic wigs prescribed for medical hair loss. To file an insurance claim, you will need a doctor’s prescription labeled “Cranial Prosthesis”. We provide official detailed medical receipts upon your request to support your insurance claim. Note that we do not process insurance claims on behalf of clients.

What is included with every order?

Every BlendBloom order comes with exclusive free accessories: a professional wig brush, a premium silk storage bag for safe daily storage, and a custom hair care instruction card. Wig collection orders also include a complimentary hair band wig grip as a special gift. All accessories are designed to help you maintain and protect your new hair piece effortlessly.

Do you offer product warranty?

Yes! We provide a 1-year limited official warranty for all ready-made and custom wigs and toppers. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects including faulty cap construction, loose stitching, and excessive hair shedding over 20%.
